Manufactured by: LUX CLOCK Mfg. Co., Inc. Waterbury, Conn. U.S.A. This clock depicts Helen Beck (1904-1979) who performed under the name of Sally Rand. She did sixteen shows a day in Chicago during the 1933 Chicago Worlds fair. Molded Syroco wood face. Colors: Ivory, green & brown, Sally Rand in flesh tone with blonde hair and blue shoes. Fan, ivory and blue. Animation: Fan moves back and forth with movement of pendulum. Fan is made of aluminum. First sold at the 1933 Chicago Worlds fair. The original pendulum bob will have "1933 A CENTURY OF PROGRESS CHICAGO" printed on it. Width 4 ¼" Height 6 ¼" overall. LUX 30 hour guaranteed key wind pendulette movement. This model winds from the back and takes a #1 key. Beats 200 times per minute.
